I have some SWOP recipes for colors. It is a coated offset sheet from a printing company that has a number of swatches with a CMYK recipe printed next to it. The project I am working on it going to be printed using the GRACoL color space. Therefore, if I want to accurately reproduce these colors, I need a slightly different set of CMYK values. Is there a simple way to make the conversion?
New doc in SWOP, type the numbers in the color picker, convert to GRACoL, read out?
Thanks. I had thought of doing that, but wondered if I was missing some more clever option. Perhaps not. I suppose I could make swatches in the temporary SWOP document, save the swatch file, and then open it in my GRACoL document, and they would be translated to the new CMYK numbers?
