1. Re: InDesign - newly installed panel doesn't show up under extensions
Jonathan Ferman Jan 7, 2013 4:12 AM (in response to coreywaldin)Hi Corey
That is strange it should be in the Window > Extensions list of panels. I asuggest you look in your InDesign folder within Applications and then inside the Plug-ins folder and see if a folder has been created called Plug-Ins or if the product Super Overlay creatior is maybe loose inside that foler. You could also try reinstalling the product by clicking int he My Stuff section of the Adobe Exchnage panel and clicking the install button.
Let me know what you find/if any of the above helps.
Thanks,
Jonathan

coreywaldin Jan 7, 2013 4:55 PM (in response to Jonathan Ferman)Hi Jonathan,
Nope, tried all of this. Rebooted, reinstalled, restarted InDesign, still doesn't show up. I have a plugins folder but no indication of Super Overlay creator plugin in there.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Corey

Jonathan Ferman Jan 8, 2013 4:56 AM (in response to coreywaldin)Hi Corey,
Within your InDesign Plug-ins folder do you have a folder called 'Panels'? I am wondering if that folder is not being creared and therefore InDesign will not see the panel. Could you also try downloading this free product from within the panel and let me know if it installs.
Thanks,
Jonathan

5. Re: InDesign - newly installed panel doesn't show up under extensions
Jonathan Ferman Jan 9, 2013 4:28 PM (in response to coreywaldin)It's strange that SuperOverlay Creator won't install then. Does the product appear in your My Stuff tab within the Adobe Exchange panel? I think it might be worth trying to install it again one final time. Please let me know what happens and sorry for the inconvenience of all this.

6. Re: InDesign - newly installed panel doesn't show up under extensions
coreywaldin Jan 9, 2013 4:49 PM (in response to Jonathan Ferman)Hey Jonathan—Yeah it's weird, but it's newer software so some bugs are understandable. No worries, happy to help resolve a more core problem if I can.
Yes, it has been showing up in My Stuff on the AE panel the whole time. I opened my Extension Manager and uninstalled the SuperOverlay Creator, went back to InDesign, installed the panel again, restarted InDesign, still no dice under Window > Extensions.
Throwing some screenshots up here for you, please let me know if you see anything wrong that I should be changing.
