Hi All and thanx in advance.
I have CS6 with all patches installed.
I took a prior project and exported several clips as uncompressed AVI.
I then created a new project and imported those uncompressed AVI clips.
When I lined them up in a sequence and went to do a multi-camera edit I found it grayed out.
I deleted the project, recreated it and tried again. It's still grayed out.
Can anyone tell me why it won't allow the Multi-camera edit function and how to fix it.
The multi-camera function worked in the project the clips were exported from.
thanx for your help,
You have to do more than just line up the clips in a sequence. You have to nest that main sequence into a second sequence, then right click will show Multi-Camera as an option.
Oh Man...What was I thinking. Jim. I am gonna go sit in the corner now with my pointy hat. Thanx.
For anyone that wants to turn a sequence into a multi cam clip.
1) Create multi layered sequence with clips synced (I often use plural eyes)
2) Create a subsequence of the section you want to multicam.
3) Drag that new subsequence into your source monitor
4) Right click your source monitor, choose multi cam enable.
Your clip should now be converted to a multicam clip.
(Been using Media Composer for 15yrs and always trying to do the equivalent in Premiere.)
