I am getting this message from InDesign CS 6 (Id version 8)
"Cannot save the document. It may be opened by other applications. Close applications and try again. You may also use saveas to save it into a new document."
What other documents could it be open in?
This just started happening today - no other changes to machine.
I don't want to be forced to saveas and keep making more copies.
Any assistance appreciated.
Aside from the fact that doing a Save As is a good way to clean out old change data that you won't be able to use after you close the file there's something odd going on. ID seems to think that the file is locked. Is it? You might get this from a file opened from CD or copied from CD.
Is it just this file, or any file?
