Can you post a screen shot, or the exact wording, of the dialog that prompts you for a password? Was this a form that was enabled prior to your update, or did you enable and distribute the form after the update?
Thanks for your response. I received a screen shot of the error the recipient is receiving and have found the answer within the Acrobat Help section, so I'll go ahead and forward those instructions to her.
Attaching the screen shot just in case anyone was curious. Update was performed long after the form had been created and enabled.

She was able to remove her digital signature and recreate a new one, but couldn't perform the second solution of renaming the crypto folder. So the error read:
An application is requesting access to a Protected item.
CryptoAPI Private Key ___________
I thought she should follow the second solution to rename the Crypto folder so that a new one would be created, but it would not allow it. "Rename" is greyed out. I've tried looking this up but it's beyond my abilities. I'm a Mac person, not PC.
Any insight appreciated.
