Error 6 message when trying to download Adobe Digital Editions

I need to download the newest version of Adobe Digital Editions.  Every time I try to finish the download a box pops up telling me to enter the administrator password.  I have a laptop with only one registered user and it tells me this user does not have the administrator privileges.  I have gone into Control Panel to make sure the administrator privileges are tied to this user and they are.  I still get this error.  I need to this program in order to download a PDF for a class.  I need help quickly!
