You probably have to craft your own code. setPref GetPref is the easiest
way to record persistant data to the user's HD.
You might record frame numbers or the first marker to the left
(marker(0) if each content page has a marker.
If you setup each page with a marker having descriptive name, the marker
name could be displayed in the bookmarks list
getProp(the markerList, marker(0)) ( I think) will return the name of
the marker at the entry of the current page.
Not a bookmark feature, but a system for remembering which markers in which movie the user has visited: http://nonlinear.openspark.com/tips/navigation/history/.
You might be able to adapt the idea so that the user has to manually add an entry to your bookmarks file.
Here's a simple bookmarks demo that I wrote in Director 8.0 in 2002. If you are working with Director MX 2004, you will need to set the executeScriptStyle to 9, or modify the way the windows style is set: http://nonlinear.openspark.com/tips/navigation/bookmark/
