For Video work, I use Premiere Pro, so this is from the PrPro side of the street, and might not apply in PS.
However, if you look on the right-side of you Track Headers (where you have the Track Names, etc.), there is a line, before the actual Timeline. Hover your cursor over that line (can be a bit of a pixel-hunt to start, until you pick up where this line is active), and when your cursor changes (usually an = sign w/ arrows), click+drag that line to the right to expand the view of the Track Header.

Thank you for your advice. I did what you said, but in Photoshop, it won't extend the panel.......
I was afraid of that. While similar, it appears that the video-editing GUI in PS is just different enough, that all the things that work in PrPro, do not function the same way.
