    Sound Amplitude Preview

      Does anyone know of a way to gather amplitude data from a sound object without actually playing the sound? I know I can use peakleft/peak right or spectrum once it's playing but I wanted to draw an amplitude graph of the first 10 seconds of the sound before it's actually played. Something like get the peakleft/right a specific millisecond offset in the sound channel?
