    Pathway inside a movieclip

      I'm having a little problem with Target Path and I was wondering if someone could help.
      I tried a few things but I haven't got it right yet.
      Here's a piece of the code:

      movieclip1.button1.onRollOver = function() {
      infoField._visible = true;
      startLoading("Photos/r006.jpg");
      };

      Ok,
      movieclip1 is the instance of a movieclip;
      button1 is the instance of a button;
      all of this is happening on frame 1;
      in the beginning I wasn't using movieclip1. before my syntax, so it wasn't working at all. So I added that and it started working. But, when the movie clip goes to frame 2 to reach button2. Button2 does not respond to commands onRollOver or any other method. I don't know what to do.
      So I'm not sure if I should use a path to reach this button on the middle of a movieclip that I have no idea how the path would be.
      A little complicated but if someone could help that would be great.
      Thanks

          any references to button2 before it exists will fail. so, if you're defining a mouse handler for button2 on frame1 of your main timeline and button2 doesn't exist until frame 2 of mvoeclip1, your handler will fail.

          to remedy, make sure button2 exists on frame 1 of movieclip1. it need not be visible on-stage.
