I'm having a problem using the CSS panel in Fireworks with gradients. When I copy and paste the code, then test it with Firefox 18.0, the gradient becomes rotated by 90 degrees.
Attached is an image of what I mean (with super strong gradients to see what I mean)
Anyone else seeing this problem? And I want to report it as an official bug, but can't seem to find the link for the Fireworks bug database right now. If you can reply with the bug database link, that'd be helpful too.
I haven't been keeping up with CSS gradient syntax lately, but these things do evolve. This means that it's not really a bug, per se, but something that Adobe should be keeping up with and issuing updates for. You can report the problem to Adobe here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Check out Matt Stow's CSS Professionalizr: http://mattstow.com/css-professionalzr.html
I've not used this personally, but Matt's made some great stuff in the past that I've used, and this page makes mention of the type of gradient syntax problems you may be running into. Give it a look; it may fix the problem for you. I'm pretty sure he's dedicated to keeping it as up-to-date as possible.
Thank you groove25, both links are just what I was looking for!
Matt Stow's extension for the CSS Professionalizr seems to fix the problem, and describes some other improvements for optimizing the code.
