I'm not up on the osmf project, but can you successfully play the .m4a file directly via URL?
Yes , I can play successfully play the .m4a file directly via URL
I miss one point.
Normally , type a direct url of a .m4a audio file by chrome , and the chrome will automatically play the file inside the browser.
However,i enter a indirect url sound.php?id=1234 for .m4a by chrome, it will prompt for download, dont know if there is any hint...
I meant: are you able to have the omsf player play back the .m4a with a direct URL in the code, not the chrome browser without the omsf player.
But it does sound like even chrome is receiving the files differently depending on the way you invoke it--I'd quess that there's some difference in the MIME type being returned for the file directly vs. the script trying to do it.
The omsf player can play back the .m4a with a direct URL in the code.
I will investigate on the MIME type in deep now.
