Changing font attributes without changing weight?

    MacEachaidh Level 1

Documents I work on for my employer are usually formatted with the Light weight in a professional family of fonts, both standard and italic, and I'd like to be able to format them quickly and reliably.  I tend to prefer working with eystrokes whenever I can.

If I use the Ctrl-Shft-I keyboard shortcut to italicise a word or phrase, it shifts the font to Normal Italic, when I want it to remain Light Italic.

Does anyone know an easy keystroke way of shifting the Light font to Light Italic without increasing the font weight?  I know I can use the mouse to drop down the font list;  it would be useful to have a keystroke solution though, if anyone knows one.

      Thanks for any help.
