After 4 hours, 54 views and no responces... am I safe to assume that what I am trying to do is not possible?
I guess I need to "save as" and create a separate file.
This means for every update there will be two places I will need to edits:
- PDF online version
- Two-sided print with facing pages version
Any other suggestions appreciated.
What makes you feel the online version cannot or should not be facing pages as well?
The layout is a 1/3 - 2/3 columns with most text content in the wide column and the narrower column reserved for note boxes and some graphics. It really feels like flipping the layout on facing pages would make the most sense...
...but your suggestion does deserve some consideration.
It just seemed to me an alternate layout would provide the option.
So how does making both versions facing pages present a problem? You could us a different master for the online layout.
Hmmm... not exactly sure what you are suggesting. Create my master as facing pages layout, then create an alternate layout with a single page master applied? If that works, it is backward to my first approach, but it if it does work than that would be great.
But maybe I am not understanding your suggestion.
That's one approach. The other would be to make the second layout as facing pages with both sides the same rather than mirrored.
