Is this what we expect from adobe? Maybe so, I guess.
All trial software expires after 30 days of use. If you want to continue using the product, all you need to do is to buy the box version from Amazon (because it is the cheapest IMHO) and use the serial number to convert your installed trial version to full version by activating the product.
It is pretty simple and I have done it so I know this is right.
All your photos and other documents are still on your drive so there is nothing to be worried about this.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Perhaps he does but I didn't have any problems and I am still using 13.0.1. There is no 13.0.4 or 13.1.2 for windows as far as I can see from this link:
<http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows>
I have to say that when an Adobe staff posts anything, he/she should also post the relevant links for people to find the relevant downloads. After all they are supposed to be experts here.

Noel Carboni Jan 17, 2013 7:30 PM (in response to mytaxsite.co.uk)Exactly correct, mytaxsite.co.uk. No update has been released for Windows since 13.0.1. Generally speaking, given the heartache 13.0.2 and 13.0.3 have caused, I'd say that's a Good Thing.

captain1944 Jan 18, 2013 4:54 AM (in response to Chris Cox)you missed the point Chris.....CS6 did NOT open at all, thus updating from photoshop would be a bit tricky, capiche? After being on chat with India, eventually I was able to open it. Just another example of shoddy work and poor communications by adobe. This issue should never have happened to begin with.

Noel Carboni Jan 18, 2013 8:41 AM (in response to captain1944)There actually is a way to update Photoshop without running it.
You might visit the following pages, for example:
Edit: Hopefully these links are fixed now.
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Windows&product=39
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Macintosh&product=39
Of course, these links don't help Creative Cloud users at all. I guess they're expected to use the Application Manager.

Noel Carboni Jan 18, 2013 5:51 AM (in response to captain1944)My apologies... The forum editor must have mangled the links, as I see they don't work. And there's no way to edit a post from an iPad owing to the half baked forum software. Maybe if no one replies to the above I'll be able to edit it later.

You miss the point. Adobe, in its last update CREATED a need to reject the extended version every time the softare was opened. This was a bug that at least they admitted. This went ob for a month. Then they created an update to delete the bug, but in so doing, they made it temporarily impossibe to open the software.
While the problem has now been fixed this is not what we should expect for the price we pay.

captain1944 Jan 19, 2013 9:11 AM (in response to Chris Cox)my question is will Adobe provide some tyoe of compensation such as a dsicount on CS7 for those of us who have been unnecessarily inconvenienced by this issue created by adobe. Some if us have wasted valuable tome sorting this and time = money.
