Hi All
I have read a few articles on this and maybe I am missing something, which is uaually the case!
We have www.6sm.co.uk and www.6sm.eu
For both the DNS has already been redelegated to BC.
If i wanted to send www.6sm.eu to www.6sm.co.uk/google-analytics-reporting and have the url in the address bar read www.6sm.co.uk/google-analytics-reporting - how do I do this? (This is so specific domains can land on specific pages but show the main domain to avoid duplication)
At present if I type in www.6sm.eu the adress bar reads www.6sm.eu/google-analytics-reporting which Is what i dont want.
What I want is to be able to forward any domain to any page but always have it so as www.6sm.co.uk/whatever-page!
If I decide i want to send www.6sm.eu to a page titled my-page, i would like it to appear www.6sm.co.uk/my-page not www.6sm.eu/my-page
How does this work if the item is a web app?
2. How does the above work if the DNS is managed externally? Where and how do i setup the above if this is the case?
Sorry if I have repeated myself, just wanted to make sure it makes sense.
I have read a few articles about bad SEO practice and so on, all i can do is feed it back to the client but at the end of the day, if thats what they insist then I cant really say no.
The above is our domain, the client we are working for has 19 domains! Would be better of putting up a holding page on each domain but they dont want to spedn the money.
Hope I have made sense and I can get a few answers, I have been struggling with this for a couple of days now.
