Is it possible to relink all images at once on a page without having them automatically being scaled to the size of the previous image?
To be more specific: The customer delivers the same size of posters, but he uses a different amount of bleed and a different size of cropmarks. I have made some sort of grid with registermarks for a cutter-machine and I only want to relink these 600 images in one grid with one-click.
Thanks in advance!
You don't say what version you are using, but maintaining the scale or maintianing the physical dimension has been a preference choice for a while now.
Thanks for your reply.
I'm using Indesign CS5. It may be a preference choice, but it's still not possible to keep the images aligned to the center of the imagebox...
Have you set that as a fitting option? You can include it in an object style.
But if the aspect ratio is the same, the new image should be positioned the same as the old one on relink anyway.
