For simple titles (f.e. translation of spoken text) I like to use the normal text command insert, choose font and size and style.
Ofcourse if i need a second time translation I try always to copy the first title object (so I don't have to choose font, size etc again). So far no problem.
Than I change ofcourse the text in the second textobject.
But the result of this is that PE is also changing the text in the first textobject ... ?!
So there must be a better way to copy textstyleobjects ... ?
As I point out in my book, when you copy a title, you make a clone of your title. Any changes you make to one copy will be made to every copy.
Instead, right-click on the title in your Project Assets panel and select Duplicate. Duplicating creates an independent copy of your title that you can modify in any way without changing the original.
The Duplicated function, that Steve mentions, is what you want.

Also, if you have a Style, that you like, and anticipate using again, you can Save that Style, to the Styles Palette.
