You should modify (change) this line:
app.findTextPreferences.appliedParagraphStyle = "heading A";
app.findTextPreferences.findWhat = SpecialCharacters.PAGE_BREAK;
Thanks for the quick response!
It doesn't appear to be working. I've put quotations around "SpecialCharacters.PAGE_BREAK", because otherwise it was returning an error. It doesn't return an error now, but it's not working.
Just to make sure, in find/change, the search character is ^P, which is indeed page break in the script, correct?
app.findTextPreferences = null;
app.findTextPreferences.findWhat = "^P";
var myResults = app.activeDocument.findText();
for (i=0; i<myResults.length; i++)
myResults[i].parentStory.paragraphs.nextItem(myResults[i].paragraphs[0 ]).appliedParagraphStyle = app.activeDocument.paragraphStyles.item("body text");
and check if your next to "page break" para is not an empty line.
That did it! Thank you very much! I apprecaite your help. =D
