I want to be able to auto-stop a modal plugin dialog box from async task, akin to calling LrDialogs.stopModalWithResult( dialog, "result" )
But the only way I know to get the dialog value is via push_button, e.g.
action = function( dialog )
Is there a way to obtain the dialog parameter without requring the user to click a button?
*** UPDATE: Don't really need this functionality, he-he, but am nevertheless interested if anybody has the answer, for future possibilities...
The first argument to LrDialogs.stopModalWithResult() can be "The dialog to dismiss, or any element of that dialog". So when you construct the dialog, you can save away the "contents" parameter value passed to LrDialogs.presentModalDialog() and pass that value to the asynchronous task.
