I am trying to 'fix' a recently working script which used
cfhttp to log into a secure form and then download some text files.
Recently the system worked until the site renewed its SSL
certificate. The certificate appears to be only for port 443
(default ssl port) however the login form requires the user to
specify a different port number (eg
When I log into the site using my browser, I receive a
message stating that the certificate should not be trusted (I have
determined it is a 'mismatch' by viewing the certificate).
Is there a way to tell CFHTTP to 'ignore' the certificate? I
know that we can do that in the browser, but not sure where in
We tried this as one of the first possible solutions on our
server, however it didn't change the result we were getting. It
appears that the certificate is signed correctly, but the ports are
causing the 'mismatch'. We are also in discussion with the website
owner to have them update their SSL, however they appear to be very
reluctant to do this. (I figure it is a simple request as their
required port is causeing the problem... )
If you can have some other ideas, I would appreciate it.
