Hey, guys. I'm pretty new at this. I got a part time job assembling a database of film clips for a university and I got a new laptop to help out. I'm running Premiere Pro CS6 and have an i7 processor, 8 gigs of ram, a 480 gig SSD hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce GT 630M with two gigs of video ram. When I go to enable the processor for editing I can only select the Mercury Video Engine. Is there a way to enable the video card for faster editing/rendering/exporting?
Try the 'hack'. Search fir it.
It has only 96 cores so it will help but not much. You have to edit the "cuda_supported_cards.txt" Adobe file and properly add it to the list. we are assuming that your notebook vendor provided at least 1 GB of video RAM..
