I have seen the reported solution to this problem and tried quitting the Desktop app, removing the file ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Edge Inspect/1.0/AppPrefs.xml and restarting the Desktop app. Still the same though, the latest Edge Inspect will quit on my iPhone 4.
I'm running the latest versions of OS X, iOS, Chrome, the Edge plug-in for Chrome and Edge Inspect for iOS.
Try completely uninstalling the Edge Inspect app from your device and removing all app data, then reinstalling again and see if you don't get the crash then.
FYI, we have an update coming out soon that should fix this issue.
