I created a new project in Flex Builder using some code from
a previous project. Everything came up great in the Design view,
but when I went to run the application it came up with with a blank
Flex-blue window. While poking around for a solution I decided to
select Clean... from the Project menu, which appeared to clean out
my bin folder. Well, now I'm getting an error that the compiler
can't find my html file in the bin folder. That's obvious, there is
nothing in the bin folder.
Doesn't the Flex compiler create the contents of the bin
folder while building an application? What can I do to get past
Well, the first thing I could do was to get rid of all the
errors in my code, then the project will actually build. When the
project builds it puts files in the bin folder. Moral of the story:
clean up your own errors first, then let your project build.
