BilboFritsch May 4, 2014 1:05 PM (in response to 999drs)Solved it after 8 hours of trying.
Hold down "Command" "option" and "shift" keys and open Photoshop. It will ask if you want to delete settings. Say Yes. You will have to reset everything but it clears the problem away instantly.

iamalivingstone Dec 3, 2016 8:08 PM (in response to BilboFritsch)This brings up Photoshop with previous preferences (my dark color choice for the UI) but then it instantly crashes. Same thing after restarts and reinstallation of PS!
Also windows is telling me I have permissions on all the folders being the administrator account, everything looks good but I still cannoy get the unchecking of the Read Only box to stick! What am I missing.

iamalivingstone Dec 14, 2016 7:58 AM (in response to Mylenium)When I adjust the permissions and then go back the change is no longer there. It doesn't stick. I am administrator and even in advanced security options it says I have full access! Any ideas?
