Exactly how are you Importing your Video (assume that you are Importing, when you mention "uploading")?
Duration issues can be from header info, that PrPro misses, for some reason.
As Ann requests, the more info, that you can give, the easier it might be to find the problem.
Uploading means moving or copying from a local computer to a remote computer, such as over the Internet.
In this case, the proper term is "import". You import the footage into PP. You upload it to YouTube or Vimeo when you're done.
