I've worked a lot in an ancient version of Premiere, though I never got too deep into it. I've been working on a project for 15 hours, and intending to save I accidentally clicked "Close" (Control+W). Stupidly, I saved after I hit that, and now I can't figure out how I can restore my timeline, if in fact it's even possible. Can anyone help me out? I can't afford to lose so much effort!
Guess this is a lesson in backup saves!
Reset Current WorkSpace (in the Window>Workspace menu top of screen)
I tried that, no luck, everything's blank except for inported files. Thankfully, I found the auto-saves so I've only lost a short time period of editing, so I'm alright and saved myself.. Thanks for your help!
Curious now .
Exactly what did you close ...and how did you save a closed project?
Advice . Make manual Save A Copy "back ups" as you work.
