I installed MC CS6 this week on a PC Windows 7 64-bit machine. I still have Photoshop CS5 Extended ont his machine as well.
When I open PS6, then Open Bridge, if I right-click on an image I no longer see "Open in Camera Raw". It's not just shaded like others have stated, it is not even there.
When I look in PS6 File Dropdown Menu, Camera Raw appears there, but is shaded.
Now when I open my previously working PS CS5 Extended, and open Bridge, "Open in Camera Raw" is no longer visible. So currently I can no longer use ACR in my previous PS5 or the new PS6.
Should I do a complete uninstall and spend the next several hours reinstalling CS6 MC again and hope ACR works this time? Is there a way to just install Camera Raw 7 again without having to unistall and reinstall everything else that seems to be working ok?
I fixed the problem, it was simply a Preference Setting in Bridge. I was in a directory with only jpg images. Once I changed the preferences to allow ACR to open jpg everything is fine. When I went to a directory with RAW images, they work fine now also.
