Is Edge the "best" application to create an "interactive photo"???
That is a question that is hard to answer...
And answers might be tainted with personal taste and perspective...
I have only worked with HTML5 hand coding it and I have used Edge...
Edge makes it a lot easier than hand coding everything!!!
Is it possible to create an "interactive photo" with Edge??
How difficult it is depends on how complex you would like it...
Here is a VERY simple and easy "interactive image" I created:
is not hard and edge is not the point here, the effect is just a sequence of images, the "things" here is not edge are the images if u have the right images u can do those effects.
Hey Schrene, there's more to it, though. What you created are 2 pics with a hover like in example 1. Here in this example there are several pics, basically a click and drag the timeline. How can this be achieved in edge animate?
Like I said ...how difficult it is depends on how complex you would like it.
The link given at the top was not the more complex one with mostly drag... it was a more simple file with a mostly hover action.
I know that you can create drag in Edge.. by adding code..
Here is one that heathrowe did:
U can do the same with 2 photos one with color and ither without easy.
Ok, thanks, just downloaded it (had to download every single file seperately, since there is no zip.) and will try to understand it.
Or could you provide an simple example of a timeline slider which behaves in the browser like the timeslider in the ui of the program?
I mean like here, but not as complicated.
The file was something that heathrowe created that I was sharing...
see this post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1073931?tstart=0
BTW the MooDisco that you shared a link to doesn't seem to work?
tried on several different browsers
Works fine here (FF, chrome, opera, safari, not ie (of course!))...and thanks for the link.
