I created a form in Acrobat X Pro. The form was secured first using a password to restrict editing, just allowing fillin form fields. Then enabled file saving by Enable Addtional Features, and save the file. Everything works Ok: can't edit the form and allows me to save it, but when I use Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet to export the data, the exported CSV file is empty. Can't export data. So I tried to remove the password protection but got the following message:
You cannot change security on this document because the document is signed or certified.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Either been able to export data or removing protection.
The next time you add security, select the "Enable copying of text, images, and other content" option if you want to be able to export the form data.
As it is, you should be able to do "File > Save a Copy" and then remove the security.
Worked like a charm George. I can export data and remove security now.
