Premiere Elements 10 would not move past the 'gathering user info' stage so I removed it through Programs & Features. I also manually deleted various directories and sub directories per recommendations on the forum. Now I cannot re-install Premiere Elements 10 as it hangs the computer practially from the get-go. My guess is my registry needs to be edited but I don't want to edit it without knowing exactly what needs to be deleted.
I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

First try Adobe's Cleanup utility.
If that's doesn't work, try Windows Disk Cleanup tool.
And,finally, run a registry cleaner. EasyCleaner is a good one.
