I would really appreciate it if someone from the business catalyst team could provide a basic roadmap of future Muse-BC integration. When, if ever, will Muse forms be able to integrate with the business catalyst database, for example? When, if ever, will Muse be able integrated with other business catalyst features, such as the email, blogs, or web apps. If such integration is never planned, it would be very helpful for Muse users to know this now. On the other hand, if such integration is planned for the future, it would also be very helpful for Muse users to have a general idea of when such integration is to be expected. Thanks very much.

Hey Chuck, May I ask why you do not want to use the features outside of Muse?

I agree with Chuck, it's wise to know whether spending the time and engery investing in a "muse" build is worth it knowing more complete integration is on the way. I personally use Dw, or at least try to, but some are intimidated or prefer the muse layout.
I have read where adobe has mentioned future integration but is so vague on it, they could mean 5 years down the road.
Not everyone wants to invest time and education into Dw. Some love the muse platform and would love to know if it will take on more muscle in BC soon.

I would always say to use muse if your a graphic designer and setpping into making websites and to learn the basics. Nothing more.
As a tool to build rich websites, You are on the right track with using a proper tool like DW and learning all you need to be able to accomplish this. Muse is not a tool to build and sell websites to clients.

I coulnd't agree more. If you're planning on selling or producing commerically, definitely must master Dw...
But for the independant business owner or manager, Muse provides great opportunity to accomplish more without the training of a designer/coder.
At the same time, Adobe videos shouldn't tout Muse as a commercial develoment tool for designers and make claim of compatability with BC 'soon'. Just my two cents Unless every one of your clients has a $300 budget and only wants 4 page websites, haha
I know when I first was introduced into it all it seemed they made Muse sound just as powerful and capable on the BC side as Dw, which we all know isnt true.
I suppose we can hope they make good on the hints and offer those muse users more BC integration soon!

Problem with that, some of the features now being asked will still have a level of complexity even in Muse because of their nature being that more complex. So even if they were added into Muse that business owner is likely not going to be able to accomplish that.
In the end though it is not about just having a website on web which will give you web throughput for your business. Million and one more things to it that such a person will simply not be able to achieve hey
In terms of the Adobe marketing of Muse, I could not agree with you more, others would too, but its and Adobe product and like any of them they will be marketed to get people in. You are not wrong but thats the way things are.

As a side note there are better things out there then DW as well. I use Coda2 for example and it is a joy to use.
