    Just the navigation bar!

    Rich146 Community Member
I am trying to get away from templates as I an new to DW and the template learning curve is sucking my time. But.........I will want to add pages to my site in the future and update the nav bar with links to those new pages. Is there a way to make a template just for my nav bar on each page and not have it change anything else????

Thanks in advance for your time

          Rich,

You can adjust the template to include or exclude whatever you like with
EditableRegions. In this case, however, it might be easier to use an include
file with your navbar code in that. There are various ways to do that,
depending on what language you are using (PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, etc).

If you want to send me the template or page off-line, I can show you how to
do this. Please use Zip format so that it gets through my e-mail ninja spam
          thingy.

          HTH,

          Steve

            Thanks Steve
I am a hobbyist rather than a real web person so I don't know (PHP, ASP, ColdFusion). I do have the file in zipped form but can't figure out how to email it to you. Keep in mind my goal is to just update the navigation bar and leave all other content unchanged.
Please let me know how I can get the zipped file to you. My personal email is rgilman46@comcast.net

            tx again
