I apparently accidently triggered a keyboard shortcut combo which changed my page view. The result was a trimmed version of my catalog (minus the bleed) and no guides to encumber. I was enjoying this new discovery until I drug a new guide from the ruler and it reverted to the old cluttered view.
I understand about hiding guides, etc., but that doesn't provide the same "package" -- the bleeds still show and the guides showing the page edges disappear as well. Not workable.
Additionally, in the preferred "accidental" view, the pasteboard changed to gray (if that offers up any clues).
I would expect to find this option in the View pulldown, but I've had no luck.
Anyone familiar with this view option? Thanks in advance.
With nothing selected, hit the "w" key. That will toggle the view. Hope this helps.
There's also a button at the bottom of the toolbox that you can use to toggel Preview (or the view menu), and Preview can be set to include bleed and slug areas, if you need them.
