    Syncing between Windows and iOS

    randyw57 Level 1

I' ve used PhotoShop Elements on Windows for some time.

I make extensive use of keyword tags.

Now we have a couple of iPads, iPhones, etc.

I am looking for an app that will take advantage of the investment I've made in keyword tagging with PSE on Windows.

I'd like to be able to get all of my photos to my iPad. Then search them via keyword tags in a way similar to

what I do now in PSE Organizer. It would also be great if the albums I have on PSE could be visualized on the iOS devices as well.

Is Creative Cloud possibly a solution that could do this? I think I'll likely continue to do most of my editing on Windows.

So I don't think I need a lot of editing power on iOS. I would like great viewing and organizing capabilities, however.

Thanks for any advice of thoughts!

It’s possible to select your device in iTunes and then select the photos tab.

PSE albums can be synchronized on a Windows PC (Mac’s use iPhoto)

Many of the cloud based products are still evolving but Adobe Revel should soon be available for Windows.

Yes, I use the iTunes PSE Album sync now.

That works very well for basic albums.

It does not support Smart Albums.

              So that is a limitation.

The iPad has a fantastic display.

              Really nice, friendly interface.

I can find all sorts of apps to do photo editing on the iPad.

But for organizing I guess I have just become spoiled by the power in PSE Organizer.

I haven't found an Adobe or any other app that will do this.

I tried Revel. It allows the creation of 'Event' tags. And Albums.

But if there is anything in Revel that looks at the existing metadata I sure couldn't find it.

It looked like I could view my library in an 'All Media' kind of view.

Or a view where the images are organized by date.

Maybe the update to support Windows will add this function?
