The Notes pane pulls text from the Notes section of your PPT. This is where the script for your presentation should be placed, so the Notes pane shows the text version of the audio. If that is not needed/desired, you can always put any informational text in then Notes field in PPT and that will show in the Notes pane for the published Presenter presentation.
The Attachment tool is where you can attach any file or document to the published presentation so viewers can download and save any supporting objects from the presentation. This is usually a PPT version of the presentation, PDF documentation, or sample files.
