Lost all my bookmarks

My adobe digital editions was running really slow, so I force quit it on my mac. And when I re-opened it, all of my bookmarks were gone.

Can someone please help me recover them?

I can't help directly, but this may give you enough to track things down.

On a PC the annotations (including bookmarks I think?) are stored in the directory

     C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My Digital Editions\Annotations

You should be able to find the equivalent directory on the Mac,

and see if there are older versions in your backup (TimeMachine or whatever).
