Digital edition installed, authorization page is not working.

I installed the digital edition. Authorization page is not working.

What exactly happens when you try to authorize ADE? Do you get any error message? If so, please attach the error screenshot.

Which OS do you have?

I have Windows 8. 

Error message reads

"Digital Editions could not connect to the actication server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."

I am sure I am connected to the internet. I kept on retrying, gives me the same message.

Try these steps,

1. click on Ignore and see if you are able to complete the installation.

2. If not, Disable Norton Anti-virus and then try to redownload the Digital Editions.

3. Else, try installing ADE 1.7.2.

Sometimes it seems to get half authorized and confused.

Try removing any old authorization (ctrl-shift-D while ADE running).

Then restart ADE and see if it is working any better.
