1. If I start a project in Premiere CS5, will I be able to edit it in other versions( 5.5 or 6)?
2. The video came with timecode on it. How do I remove it?
The timecode is burned-in... the only way to remove it
is to get the original media without timecode on screen.
3. The video currently isn't taking up the fill screen. What am I doing wrong?
It appears your media does not match your sequence settings.

Wow. Thanks so much. One final question.
I have a Interviews.m2v.xmpses file and a Interviews.xmp file. Any idea what the heck those might be? I'm showing premiere doesn't support those files.
An XMPSES file is a Premiere Elements DVD Marker file.
The video is in an .M2V file and all of the DVD marker information
(chapters, scenes, etc.) are in the .XMPSES file in the same folder as the .M2V file.
An XMP file contains metadata that describes an associated media file,
and may include a file description, title, keywords, author and
copyright data, and other information.
I can't evenput into words how much you've helped me. Thanks!
