I'm trying to make a repeating texture. There are lots of examples of how to do it, like
gModel.shader.textureTransform.scale = vector (0.5, 0.5, 1)
gModel.shader.textureRepeat = true
but they all don't work. The texture stays stretched over the model no matter what. I have googled for two days now and didn't find even a slightest mention of this problem and I'm completely lost. How can this be, what is wrong?
I'm using Director 11. If you are able to compile a succesful example of repeating texture, could you please email me the source? I need a very simple working example, like a single plane with a single texture.
Are you using 11 or 11.5?
Hi, 11.5. Actually a friend of mine sorted it out and now it works. I currently don't have the Director and code at hand but he said the problem was in texture layer order, i.e. what supposed to be higher layer was in fact lower.I still don't know how it happened because there were no additional layers but anyway it's solved now. If anyone needs help with this I can provide code later.
