We use InDesign to create wireframe specs for user interface / UX designs. Our documents usually begin with a page tree structure, roughly a kind of table of contents. I usually use an additional window / pane to keep this in view while adding new Pages so I can progress through without having to jump back up to the top of the document each time.
Having just upgraded to ID CS6: whenever I create a new Page in the Pages panel, this secondary pane / window jumps to a random page without me doing anything. The main, selected document window displays the new Page, as expected; but shouldn't the secondary window / pane stay put, if it's unselected?
Also, am I misguided, but isn't there a way to "pin" a window to a specific page?
