I just recently reinstalled After Effects, and installed a whole bunch of plugins like trapcode and camera tracker, and whenever I run after effects, I get the Error Message "After Effects warning: there are multiple copies of plug-in effect "plugin" on your drive...." and afterwards their are a whole bunch of windows coming up, saying the same thing. I looked online, and and figured they had to be in other folders as copies, and couldn't find them like in the support plugins in the commons folder and in the different program files folder since I'm running 64-bit. Is their way to get rid of this problem so I don't have to go through the trouble of reinstalling my Master Collection again?
Did you use the installers and follow instructions for installing all of those plug-ins that you mentioned?
Yes, all the way through
I just recently reinstalled After Effects...
What you did BEFORE reinstalling AE may also be very significant. Did you follow the Adobe instructions for uninstalling the application from your particular computer & OS and then run the Adobe Cleaner application?
I hope you didn't just wing it and hope for the best.
