    Risk of Reassigning Drive Letters

    Paul R Stark Level 1

      Hi Friends.

I am preparing to replace my dead F:/ projects drive. I would like to do two things:

      1. Reassign the drive letters, making the new, larger drive my media drive and changing my existing smaller E:/ media drive to be the F:/ projects drive.  All my media and projects are (mirror) backed up, so it's just a matter of copying the files to the respective drives (I presume) after renaming the drive letters.
      2. I'd like to put pagefile.sys back on the F:/ projects drive rather than on C:/ where it now resides after the old F:/ failed.

I am wondering there is any risk in the above plan or if I can go ahead without concern.

      Thanks, Everyone.
