Lessening the speed duration of clips (still photos) to match the audio places a gap in-between each clip which does not decrease the video or match the audio. How do I accomplish this, ie. get rid of spaces and why does Premiere do this? I am on CS6, Mountain Lion. Ultimately I will want to add transitions inbetween the clips.
Just use the mouse to drag the end of the clip to make it the length you want.
Select all the clips whose duration you want to change. (Lock the other tracks.) Right click>Speed/Duration... Unlink Speed, change the Duration, and check the Ripple box at the bottom.
