    Changing font color using javascript

    mashh62

      Hi,

      I have the following code and seem to have no success.

      comp.getStage().$('LabelName').css('color', '#FFFFFF');

      Any suggestions will be helpful.

      Thanks.

          Hey mashh,

          You should be able to achieve this making a few tweaks to your syntax.

          sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("symbolName").$("elementName").css("color","#FFF ");

          I'm assuming you're trying to access your text element from inside another symbol. If not you can omit the composition/stage handlers and just use sym.$("elementName").css("color","#FFF");

          hth,

            Hi Sarah,

            Thanks of the suggestions.

            No luck so far.

            I have:

                 AdobeEdge.bootstrapCallback(function (compId) {

                    var comp = AdobeEdge.getComposition(compId);

                    comp.getStage().$('PageTitle').css('color', '#FFFFFF');

                });

            Am trying to chnage color from Black to White.

            Thanks.

            Mahesh
