    installing an extension with certificate

    vincent 1982

      Hello,

I have bought a globalsign certificate to use when i sign my extension to get rid of the warnings on installation,

now after the order was confirmed i have installed the certificate on my mac as sugested, however, i jave no idea where to go from here, when i create my extension it always asks for a certificate (.p12) file, but i have no idea where to find it now, and globalsign documentation isnt helping me much either. Is anyone here that can point me in the right direction?

          Hi Vincent,

You may want to adress your concerns within the ExtensionBuilder forum where you will find more appropriate answers regarding to this topic. It if can help, I bought a Adobe AIR code signing certificate from GlobalSign and then received a pfx file that I could convert in p12 thanks to Firefox certificate preferecnes.

Also, have a look at latest news. I think you no longer need external companies for signing your extensions.
