Proper way to import audio tracks to another project file?

I have two project files, One is corrupt (latest video edit with the sound mix)  everytime I export (exhausted on looking for bad clip) and One good (older file with no soundmix but Now updated with the video edit of corrupt file). Fortunately before the films submission due date, I was able to export the audio (soundmix) from the corrupt file and import it (one main track) in the good file (same timecode) which left me a successful export to turn in!

However the final due date will come up in two months and I'm sure the timecode will change and I would like to polish the soundmix on the 6 separate tracks like normal people versus encoding between files as I just stated.   I tried copy and pasting it (for the hell of it) on the Actual sequence after importing the corrupt file in the new one and obviously you know where that went, exporting errors.  So my question is, What would be the proper way to import the audio (six tracks) from one file to another on the good file sequence. Thanks for reading!
