Have you tired reinstalling Quicktime?
Yes I do try several times. Older version , new version etc.
It doesn't make any change. Yes I am tired ;-)
I am thinking of reinstalling all my CS5 Production Suite. Especialy, AE CS5 and CS4.
But before doing that, I was thinking maybe a more simple solution exists.
“QuickTime is not installed on this system…” warning message i the message I get everytime I opne AE. 4 time on 5
making sure that QuickTime is installed : Done
My Firewall is Avast :
In the application rules I find
- Adobe QT32 Server.exe
- dynamiclinkmanager.exe two time
There TCP are setting OK. in and out
I didn't find PPROHeadless.exe in Avast Firewall application rules
I only find it in Premiere pro CS5 dir, not in AE one. Is it normal?
I did a shortcut with Adobe QT32 Server.exe and with PProHeadless.exe (Premiere dir.)
When I click on QT32 then AE, the message “QuickTime is not installed on this system…” appears 4 time on 5.
When I click on QT32, then on PProHeadless.exe, then AE, the message doesn't happen and happens again.
When the message doesn't happen, AE crash after I tried to open a Project with Quicktime files in it (.mov). (AE does not Response)
I tried to install CS4 Premiere and AE that come with my CS5 productuction Suite. The installation Crash. I tried 3 times. One after the complete reinstallation of my CS5 production Suite.
I download and reinstall all my CS5 Suite and its following Upgrades. AE still show up the same popup message : “QuickTime is not installed on this system…”
It ried to convert .mov file in mp4 ones. Does not seem to work, AE crash again.
Since my last installation the AE logo doesn't appear anymore. I got an anonymous one instead.
What shoul I do? What can I do? What should I think?
I suppose to have buy a "clé en main" system. Was it true?
Can you suggest to me a convertion manner that I can use to transform .mov file in a format that AE 64 bits is able to read without crashing? PLEASE
Disable Avast and try again. (To be completely safe, make sure that you're disconnected from the Internet during this test.)
