How do I create the copyright symbol in Photoshop CS6, Windows7? Alt+0169 does not work.
I just use Character Map, and Copy/Paste the © symbol.
With the Alt+ keys are you using the numerical keypad, or the numbers at the top of the QWERTY? Is NumLk ON?
I usually just find it somewhere on a web page and copy/paste it.
It should work but make sure you use the numeric keypad.
I'm working on a laptop and have no mumeric keypad. Does Alt+0169 only work via keypad?
Under the Custom Shape Tool is the copyright symbol.....
Thanks to everyone. I used the custom shape tool (which I've never used before) and I copied and pasted a symbol. Both methods worked well. Since I only have to do this once a year, I should be set until January.
On most keypads, ONLY the numeric numbers will work with the Alt+ method.
Glad that you found a solution.
Good luck, and happy editing,
I know this a little old, but for anyone who comes across this I found that "ALT +G" on my imac creates a copyright sign in a text layer.
Thanks! Alt+G worked perfect in Photoshop CC
