I would look at making a custom dynamic stamp that increment with each placement sort of like a Bates Number.
sorry to bother you but could you give me any clue ?
I'm a "full beginner"....
thanls a lot for your to the Custom Dynamic Stamps ! Currently I only have one problem : cannot find where Acrobat X is placing the file containing the newly created Stamp (the directory suggested in the Tutorial doesn't exist in my OS (Vista)).......is there maybe an area of the optionstabs where can I find these directories ?...
You need to change LogInName to your user or login name and Version.Number to major version number like 10.0 for version X.
Windows 7 and 8 use the user application path the same as designed for Vista.
Dynamic Stamp Secrets by Thom Parker.
What folder does the tutorial suggest? We may be able to translate for Vista.
Hope this helps,
The folder should be : Acrobat\plug_ins_Annotations\Stamps\[language_dir]\.....
is there a setting where can I read it in the options/preferences tab ?
I just spent a bit of time setting up an auto-incrementing stamp. Check out the github here:
... can probably be improved eventually
